Marissa & Liam

Marissa & Liam Married in Hawaii on Oahu

Our next generation flash gallery may be found here
http://www.alohaislandweddings.com/marissa/marissa.html

Ceremony: Thursday 19th of June 2pm - East coast Beach. Beach Chapel Arch Package- Bamboo Arch - Colour theme Fushia Pink & Green.
We are not having bridesmaids or groomsmen, I think I might have my Mum & Dad walk me down the aisle????
Minister: We would like to have a non-traditional personalized ceremony which is still really meaningful (we have the wording for whole the ceremony & vows that we would like already). We would like to also include the Hawaiian shell conch sand ceremony (pink & blue sand) We have been looking at either Mahalani Mix, Rev Alan or Lei Hula Mamo -
I think Leihulu mamo would be great to have if he is available. Do we get to meet with our minister before the ceremony?
Musician: We would like someone who to play the guitar or ukulele and sing. We would like somewhere over the rainbow &
is it possible to get them to sing any other sings - e.g. a jack johnson song?
Flowers:- Orchids - I especially like the Green cymbidium orchids (the ones with pink in the centre), Plumeria flowers, for my bouquet
I would like green cymbidium orchids with bright pink ribbon (like the one from john & nina's wedding) but I would like to have it a little
bit bigger and with bright pink and cream roses and thin long grass
(dont know what its called) woven through it - picture on

www.hiltonhawaii.com/aloharomance we are also wanting all of our guests to get leis.

And for my Dad & Liam to have flowers for their buttonholes that math my bouquet, and maybe corsages for our mums?

Chairs:- we will be needing approx. 25 chairs - With Fushia pink sashes & green cymbidium orchids or could you recommend any other green flower?
Photos: Pre - Marissa getting ready, Ceremony, Reception & Sunset - Are the photos put onto cd? How much to have the hard cover book album?
Transport:- What sort of limo is included? Is it possible to have a white hummer? Can we organise a bus for transport for guests from
Waikiki to ceremony location, returning to reception venue? if so how much?
Reception:- We have booked the reception a Tiki's Grill & Bar on the Hina's Lanai 5pm
Cake:- Can we have the cake at the reception only please - I really like the cake from john & nina's wedding as well but could
we have it with a stand between the two tiers with the same flowers from my bouquet filling in the gap? I dont know
if I have explained it very well but got the idea from www.yvonnefloral.com

transportation to and from the wedding provided by xcel limo ..
note to limo driver .......All of the men are going to leave for the wedding site early and the women were going to take the limo, but I was needing a source of transportation for the men. Also, with the extra pictures after the wedding I am not sure that we will make the bus to go to our luau so I was wondering if the limo could drop us off at the luau (Paradise Cove) and then we would just take the bus back.

additional little bouquet of flowers to throw just in sake of tradition. Nothing fancy... even one big flower with a ribbon would work.

Finally, Jay and I have decided on the leis for the wedding. I actually found these on another website www.alohafriendsshop.com. If these styles are unavailable the closest thing to them will be fine.
Jay: Maile style braided ti lei entwined with tuberose
Groomsmen and My Dad (3 leis): Maile style braided ti lei
Me: Close Braided ti lei entwined with tuberose
Moms and close female relatives (4 leis): Closed tuberose lei

Here is a list of the guests attending our wedding:
My family: Gary and Jan Williams, and Paislee Williams
Jay's mother: Maria Cabrera
Jay's sister: Elizabeth Cabrera

Cake
Jay and I liked the design of the cake in the attached photo if the flowers and ribbon on the cake were all fuschia. We would like a vanilla cake and would prefer a vanilla or butter cream icing rather than a fondant icing...... .two circles on top of each other pearl boarders {flowers on the top just a few on the side}

Staying at a house on the beach east coast of Oahu . .

Ariels bouquet consisted of multi colored plumeria flowers set in a silver bouquet holder, she took pre wedding photos in her beach house right on the ocean.

Flower for the brides hair: mixture of rainbow plumerias.

like to get married at 1:30pm, to have great lighting for the sun to be at a good angle at that time for photos .

Colors/Flowers - French style round.....We have decided that our colors will be fuschia, orange, and yellow. I would like my bouquet to be plumerias in those colors, as well as our leis. We have also decided to go with the bamboo arch with fuschia, orange, and yellow fabrics and flowers scattered around. We would like to incorporate pineapples and those decorative monarch butterflys that are featured in some of the layouts into our theme as well.

Minister - We would like to request Rev Chris as our first choice,
Will we be meeting with our minister before our ceremony, to talk to him about the details of our vows,
Cake - We would like to have a coconut cake with vanilla buttercream frosting (or something along those lines) in a tiered design (2-3 tiers) with flowers in our colors cascading down the side/around the base.

We would like to add more photos after the wedding and do atrash the dress shoot, i would love to get in the ocean with my dress......

http://www.alohaislandweddings.com/ariel/dress.html

Well, that's it for now. We are soooooooooooooo excited and are counting down the days - less than 4 months now!

We are so excited to get married at Oahu beach house wedding. We are interested in the Lovers In Paradise package, but there are a few things we would like to add to it. We would like to add an arch – either one of the bamboo/fabric ones or something like the tiki/palm one on this page: http://www.alohaislandweddings.com/hawaii_beach_weddings.htm

We would also like to get the negatives to our photos (you take AMAZING pictures!) and make sure we have a large enough cake and enough leis for our guests. We are probably going to have around 20 people attending, but we aren’t 100% sure yet. Basically, we just want to have a very casual wedding with our family and friends standing around us – no aisle, no official bridesmaids/groomsman, and so on.

http://www.alohaislandweddings.net/ariel/flashGallery.html

We are not sure what time of day we should have the ceremony at. We would like to have our pictures taken after we are married, though. So, whenever you think the sun is at the best angle and the beach looks the prettiest. :-) We really aren’t too picky. Also, we don’t really want to have a private reception/party afterwards, but we would like to do something with our guests. Are there any luaus we could attend or do you have any other ideas for affordable things we could do with our guests in the evening after the ceremony?

Paul & Dewi,
Andy and I just want to say THANK YOU again for making our wedding the most perfect, magical day of our lives! You definitely made our wedding day stress-free... I still can't believe how smoothly everything went! And, the most important thing to me was the photos and you definitely exceeded my expectations. We recently received the photos from you and I am still in awe of how beautiful they are - especially the "trash the dress" shoot! Also, thanks for the amazing website! We just can't say thank you enough. You are the best! Keep doing what you do!
Mahalo,
Ariel & Andy Belzer
PS - We hope you have a blast in Bali! I would love to see your photos when you return.
