Loving God, we thank you for the beauty of this day and of this occasion and for your Presence here which makes all things beautiful.  Thank you for bringing (groom) and (bride) from so far away so that we can celebrate with them in this very special time.  So we commit this time and this service of blessing to You with gratitude.  Amen.

 

DECLARATION OF INTENT (the “I do’s”):  Do you take (bride/groom) to be your (wife/husband) declaring to love her/him, honor her/him, comfort her/him, and keep her/him in sickness and in health, through the good times and the bad, and forsaking all others, be faithful to her/him as long as you both shall live?
