How we met
Simple . . . Online!
We exchanged emails for one day, until we finally decided to meet! Talk about waiting!!!

We met at Bennigan's (remember that place???) for drinks and dessert. The date lasted until the restaurant
closed into the late hours of the night. So the next day, we missed school and work so we could continue where we left off. Been inseparable since !!!!

How we got engaged
On a surprise trip to Las Vegas staying at the Venetian Hotel, Leon proposed! We were both very excited and decided to tie the knot at the Chapel of the Bells on Friday, February 18, 2011.
Unfortunately, Elvis was not available to preside over the ceremony

Attire or other information
Attire for the ceremony is "Island Chic"
Since the ceremony will be held in a cove and we will have to walk down to the beach, we recommend comfortable walking sandals.
And since this is Hawai'i, flip flops and Hawaiian shirts are absolutely acceptable.
Things to do in the area
There is so much to do on the island of Oahu we don't even know where to begin! But we will give it a try :)
There are surfing lessons, snorkeling in Hanunamu Bay, hiking Diamondhead, visiting Pearl Harbor, kayaking, parasailing, jetskiing, experiencing the Polynesian Cultural Center, visiting the famous North Shore, enjoying a luau and of course . . . shopping!!

Below are a few links that will help you decide on which activities you may want to try while in Oahu, Hawaii. Remember, our wedding only takes on day (a bit more if you are in the wedding party). So please enjoy the island while you are there.

Our Hawai'ian Ceremony
Our wedding ceremony will be conducted in the traditional Hawai'ian fashion. Along with exchanging of rings, we will be exchanging leis as symbols of love and commitment. The ceremony will also include our torch lighting, blessing of the rings, and a sand ceremony. Our wedding party will take part in all aspects of the ceremony. As the bride and groom, we will repeat Hawaiian vows, in addition to vows we have written ourselves.
Live Hawaiian music will be played throughout the ceremony and our guests will be entertained with professional hula dancers. The guests might even have to dance themselves :)
Ceremony Location
Located below Makapu'u Point, Makapu'u Beach (Pictured above) is a beautiful white scenic area surrounding by majestic cliffs and lava rocks. With great views of the famous Makapu'u Lighthouse and serving as the background for such movies as 50 First Dates, there couldn't be a more perfect spot for a traditional Hawaiian wedding.

Our Wedding Party
We have been so fortunate to have such great friends in our lives . . .
who are not only a great support, but are an inspiration of love.
These wonderful people make up our wedding party.
