Aloha Island Weddings

Aloha Paul!  Just wanted to find out a few final things from you.  First, when should we expect to receive the video and certificate from you in the mail?  When do you anticipate our wedding website will be updated with photos?  Also, what is the total amount owed to the limo company?  Who do we make the check out to?  And lastly where do we mail it?  Thank you for your help Paul!  And thank you again for a beautiful wedding!

Paul-
Just to let you know we do have a finalized head count.  There will be a total of 14 people in attendance including ourselves and the 2 people standing up for us.
Please let me know where we stand on the salon. Just to recap the services we will be wanting they are as follows:

There will be three people attending the salon (including myself) and the services we would like are as follows:
For myself:  Makeup, manicure, and pedicure; for my mom: Make-up, manicure, and pedicure; For my maid of honor: Make-up, pedicure, and updo.
My mom and I both have short hair so we will do this ourselves prior to going to the salon.  My maid of honor has acrylic nails and she is going to have them done prior to coming to Hawaii.

Paul-
I have still not heard back on my previous two e-mails.  Hope all is going well.  Anything new on the limo or salon?
-Teresa Parson

Hi Paul-

To piggyback on my last message changing the leis and cake flavor I have figured out what we want to do at the salon.  If I can have you make a reservation and get a price estimate for us that would be greatly appreciated.  There will be three people attending the salon (including myself) and the services we would like are as follows:  For myself:  Makeup, manicure, and pedicure; for my mom: Make-up, manicure, and pedicure; For my maid of honor: Make-up, pedicure, and updo.  My mom and I both have short hair so we will do this ourselves prior to going to the salon.  My maid of honor has acrylic nails and she is going to have them done prior to coming to Hawaii.

In addition we have figured out what we would like to do on the limo.  We would like 2 limos - 1 to take Alberto and his brother to the wedding site and drop them off.  Then another to take myself, my mom, and my maid of honor to the wedding site - wait for the ceremony to be over, and then take Alberto and I back to our hotel.  The others who came in the limo will all ride back with their significant others.  Hopefully this can be arranged.

Thank you so much for all of your help, Paul!

Paul-
After going over everything we discussed with Alberto, there are a few minor changes that we want to make.  First, we would like to switch the flavor of the cake from strawberries and cream to chocolate.  Also, instead of spraying the orchids yellow we would like to switch and go with purple orchids for the leis with Alberto's being the full green leaf intertwined with the purple color (see attached photo example for colors).  If we could also mix the purple orchids into the arch, corsages and bouquets along with the other flowers so they would go along with the theme.  I will still need to get back to you with what we want to do at the salon - I will need you to make a reservation but I am still deciding on the services - I will let you know by early next week.  Hope everything is going well.  Talk to you soon!

Hello Paul!  How is everything going?  We finally booked a restaurant for an evening reception - the Orchids at Halekulani.  That appears to be a nice restaurant - have you heard anything about it?  I also wanted to see how much extra the limo is per hour.  Ideally I would like to add on time so that my mom, maid of honor, and I can be picked up at the hotel and be taken to the wedding site.  Then Alberto and I would ride back in the limo and take the limo to and from the reception that night.  Would that be possible?  Also - in the package it does not include a bouquet for the maid of honor - I will want to add that in - just a small version of mine.  As well as leis for all who attend.  What else do we need to get taken care of at this point?  Please let me know so we can get a jump on things.  Thanks for your help, Paul!

Hi Paul-
Sorry I didn't have a chance to get back to you last week - it's been a bit crazy.  Hawaii Estate House for  my fiance Alberto and I looked at the ministers   Hawaii Wedding Wear and as a back-up to Reverend Neil we would like to go with Reverend Kahu.  I have also attached a few photos.  Can you see if the florist can do something similar for the bouquet.  For my lei we would like to go with yellow orchids if possible and for Alberto's lei the full green leaf lea with the yellow orchids threaded in.  For the arch - I liked the greenery in this arch - but I would want to go with flowers that match those in the bouquet - more reds and rich yellows - maybe even some purple orchids - just rich summery colors.  As far as guests go we are looking at ourselves plus approx 15 people now.  We will each have one person standing up with us.  Please let me know based on the timeframe what we need to start choosing from here.  Thanks for your help Paul.  I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Paul,
I received your message today.  My email address isWe are expecting between 10 - 20 guests.  I will be able to give you a final headcount in a month or two.  I checked the website and saw that you did update with the changes.  I did note a few discrepencies though - the video and the limo are added back in on the package - but they are still listed as deducted after the package.  that you were going to honor from when we reserved.  I'm guessing this is in error due to the package being copied from the homepage.  Please let me know.

Also, is Reverend Neil back and available to officiate or is he still away caring for his parents?  If he is available, he would be our preference to officiate - if not let us know so we can select another minister.  Thanks for your help Paul!

Aloha Paul!  I hope all is going well with you.  I will be on vacation next week so I can start planning details for the wedding.  I was reviewing the website to see what we had communicated so far.  It appears most of the information is accurate - but I wanted to update you on a few details.  On the website it is showing sunset for the wedding and subtraction for the video package and limo.  I believe we had discussed that the photos look better at that location earlier in the day so I had the invitations printed with 2:00. Hawaii Wedding Packages  I also do not remember the subtraction for the video package and limo - I would like to keep those in the package.  Hawaii Beach Wedding As of right now we have reservations to fly in on Wed,   We will be staying at the waikiki shore.  I am going to start trying to look for photos of flowers and such so I can e-mail you in the next week or two.Hawaii Wedding Favors      Oahu Wedding   Are there any other particulars that we need to discuss soon?  It seems like the date is going to be here before we know it!  Thanks for your help, Paul.  I look forward to working with you!

Hi again Paul!  I was just concerned as we have not heard from you and my original e-mail was a week and a half ago.  Please let me know if this will be possible.  I would like to start looking for sites to have our reception at here in California when we return.  Thanks for your help!

Oops - I guess I should indicate the year - August of 2005.  Thanks Paul!

This is Teresa Parson.  In planning the wedding we are still finding that some family will not be able to attend in January.  This is the reason why we had chosen January because we thought more people would be able to attend.  Since it seems to be making little difference we were wondering if it would be possible to move the date up to August.  Our two year anniversary of our first date is August 6.  If that date is available we would like to move the wedding to then.  If not, then August 1, which is my birthday.  Please let me know if that will be possible - I swear after this we will not try to change the dates on you.  Thank you for your help!

I am starting to look at options for airfare and accomodations.  How long do we need to stay on Oahu after the wedding to be able to pick up our album.  Also, how long do you recommend we get there prior to the wedding.  If we stay on Oahu starting August 2nd - leaving August 10 to go to Maui, will that give us enough time to prepare before and get everything from you after?  Also, we are looking at renting houses in the Waimanalo area.  Have you heard anything about these people?  www.beachhousehawaii.com  Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much Paul.  I will be at offsite meetings this week, so next week would be preferable to call me if you are able.  The best place to reach me is work - I'm there normally from 8am to 6:30 pm.  I will also include my home phone and cel phone so you can reach me if I'm not there.  Thank you again!  I hope you had a nice vacation.
