Bamboo Arch

flowers on the walkway pink plumeria scattered along the walkway
smaller lava rocks beginning of the rockway
sea shells and flowers......

**I would like a bamboo arch with turquoise, light green, and white fabric. (I really like the arch in Natasha and Robert's wedding)
**For the chairs, I like the white chair covers with a turquoise fabric wrap and then some kind of green flower stuck in (I was thinking either a green orchid or green anthurium.)
**I would like pink plumeria petals scattered down the aisle
**Maybe a couple of small lava rocks can sit at the beginning of the aisle with some sea shells around it and some flowers?

**I would like to request a Hawaiian minister
**We would like a ukulele for the solo musician

**For the flowers:

--Brides bouquet --> mixture of plumerias, mostly pink
--Bridesmaid bouquet (I only have 1 bridesmaid) -->smaller version of mine

--1 Grooms lei --> Maile lei (the one traditionally worn by groom)
--1 Brides lei --> i'm not sure what's it's called, just one that is white and skinny
--2 Mothers leis --> white ginger leis
--2 Fathers leis --> not sure the name of it, it has small green leaves and kukui nuts
--1 Best Mans lei --> white orchid tea leaf
--1 Bridesmaids lei --> white orchid

**For the cake... 2 tiers with white frosting, 2 flavors - 1 with strawberries and cream and 1 with hawaiian coconut. Maybe just some pink plumerias on and around the cake.

**We would like to incorporate a lei ceremony for the parents. We also want to do a sand ceremony with just the bride & groom.

Ok... here are my ideas. I am very open to suggestions. I have been on your website for hours and hours trying to figure out what I like. Please let me know if there is anything thing else you need. Also, do I need to obtain an permit to have the wedding on the beach? We still want to have the ceremony on Makapuu Beach.

Thank you sooooo much!!!
Tami Meyer & Albert Mogul

Aloha! My name is Tami and I am very interested in having Aloha Island Weddings assist in coordinating my wedding. I live in Illinois but visited Honolulu 2 years ago with my now fiance, Albert and we fell in love with the sights and people and we have chosen to get married there on August 30, 2008. Albert has family there and I think it would be so amazing to have a Hawaiian wedding. I have emailed twice before and left a voice message and have not received a response. I would love to hear that you could help plan our special day! Please respond either way. Thank you very much!

I hope you got the email I sent with my ideas for the wedding. I have a couple of more questions.
How many people can fit in the limo that will take us to the ceremony? Is it possible to get another limo or some form of transportation for some of the guests? There will be a total of 35 guests not including bride and groom. But I'm only expecting a maximum of 15 of the guests to need transportation to the ceremony site. Also, if the wedding starts at 2pm, what time do you think we will leave the hotel? That's all I can think of now :) We will flying in in the afternoon. Do you want to meet that day? Thanks sooo much!

Marieka Rogers Raphael Miller

Marieka Rogers escorted by her father

The wedding setup used the theme of redish orange magenta and bright Hawaiian flowers
Before the beginning of the wedding aisle Marieka wanted to have the Hawaiian Tiki Lono – who is a Ancient Tiki Statue of Fertility and Peace was chosen by
Marieka and Raphael Miller to signify their love for Hawaiian culture and its place in their heart . In the mythic Hawaiian stories, Lono brings forth abundance and prosperity hence he is connected with music and agriculture for example the sounds of nature { the ocean the birds the wind and the fire are part of Lono's personality} .... it is said that Lono came to Hawaii riding a rainbow laughing as he slide down to the Hawaiian islands. In agricultuer such as the planting Taro {a main staple in the local diet} he was considered the element that brought forth the rain from the sky which by the way is the Hawaiian word Wai. Lono also embodies love and is an important part of the peaceful season known as Makahiki.

So happy to have set a wedding date with your company! Our wedding will have about twenty-five people. Here are the details that we have decided on:
  • Professional photographer
  • Bamboo arch with fabric
  • White wedding chairs with fabric wraps and flowers tucked in the back
  • Flowers - bride's bouquet, maid of honor bouquet, tucked into the backs of the chairs, running down the aisle, and a flower shower (we were thinking orange hibiscus and yellow plumeria down the aisle, yellow plumerias for the backs of the chairs and my bouquet)
  • Sand ceremony
  • A CD player set up to play music

The colors that we have decided on are green, yellow, and orange. On the website there is a picture of a wedding that used green and orange (the one lined with birds of paradise), we would like to use those colors, but also add yellow plumerias.

All yellow plumeria for the bride

orange plumeria rainbow/ orange hibiscus......

Part of Our vows

Opening Words found here

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of God to celebrate the love that Jonathan and Alexandra share and to witness the joining together of their lives.

Today is the day that they will formally and publicly make their promises to one another. Although this is indeed a high point, marriage is a journey not a destination. Marriage is more than any one single event or promise. It is a series of decisions that have been made, and will continue to be made over and over again, every day, that shows their care and concern for the one whom they each love most in the world. Marriage is a promise that is renewed daily through a couples actions and a responsibility taken on in the spirit of faith, hope, and love that brings comfort in times of sadness and heightens our greatest joy.

Jonathan and Alexandra, may the promises you make this day live always in our hearts and in your home so that all which you share now deepens and grows through the years, leading you through a lifetime of happiness.

Hi Paul,
Now that the wedding is getting closer, I just wanted to check in and make sure that we were set on the details and I have a few questions for you.

Questions:
  1. Wedding license - What do Jonathan and I need to do or bring to the Department of Health in order to get our wedding license? 9:00am will go get the license
  2. Officiant - Jonathan and I have written our own ceremony, and would like our friend to lead most of it, but talked to you about having an already licensed officiant there to complete the legal section of the ceremony. Which pieces does the officiant need to say in order to sign off on the wedding? Should we send over a copy of this ahead of time?
  3. Colors - I have chosen the fabric colors that I would like for the wedding; should I mail these to you now or bring them with me?
  4. Sand ceremony - Jonathan and I looked at many sand jars, but liked the ones on your website best. We really liked the round flat jar and the two square jars (the very first picture on your website on the sand page). Is it possible for you to get that set for us? no cost
  5. Sand ceremony – Do you supply the colored sand or do we need to bring it with us? color green orange
  6. Wedding music – Jonathan and I chose some more contemporary music for the ceremony and we have an iPod with a player that will be loud enough to hear on the beach – is this something that you could press play on or do we need to arrange for someone else there to do this?

Details:

Matthew Jackson & Jamie King

http://alohaislandwedding.com/jamie/matthew.html

This is Matthew Jackson and Jamie King, and we have made some decisions on what we wanted for our wedding.

The dinner reception: We would like the HanoHano Room. We wanted to know if there was a more private rooms with a view there for the reception. Also, can we get a sample menu for ourselves and our guest? And when would you need to know the final head-count?

For our Location of the Ceremony: We chose a Secluded white sandy Beach. (we would like a more private section of the beach with beautiful views of the ocean)

We would like our minster to be Hawaiian Minister Mahalani or Leihulu Mamo. Although, we do have some questions whether he would do a non-denominational ceremony. And we would also like to write and read our own vows and if that can be incorporated into the ceremony.

We would like our musical duo to be the Harp and Flute. And could it be arranged for them to play "Canon in D" while we walk down the aisle?

Our overall theme is turquoise. Do you think you can send us some ideas for the flower arch? We are also open to other colors to be used with the turquoise.

All of our quests will be staying at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach.

So, please get back to us with the samples so we can continue our decision making process.

Or do we get to pick the place? Yes you choose where you want to have your reception.
And is there extra costs with different places? No
And can you handle a larger group for us?
Yes with additional guest.
, i like to keep out weddings under 35 guest though

2. The 4 hour photo tour: When does this happen? On the wedding day or after/before?
usually the day before or if you don't want to see her is the dress we could do the photo tour day after the wedding if you want?.

3. Massage/Pedicure/Manicure for Bride: Is this also on the day of the wedding?
Yes the day before
Can this be done the day before?

4. Photography/Videography: How long will it take to receive these?
Photograph for the wedding and all the CDs is about 4 days
video is about 7 days.
Do you mail them home to us?
Ups or Fedex yes if your not still in hawaii

5. Flowers/Arch etc: How do we pick our color schemes?
Yes you choose anything you want.
Can we pick whatever we want or are there limitations?
not many limitations

Do we have to meet in person prior to the wedding?
Yes we will have a meeting when you arrive in Hawaii.

Please write me back with your answers or give me a call at your earliest convenience.
Matthew Jackson

Celestial theme wedding

Your love is as deep as the midnight blue of the night time sky and as bright as the stars that shine above.  There could be no more perfect theme for your wedding than one that incorporates those feelings.  A celestial theme wedding is a beautiful way to share the way you feel with your friends and family.

Obviously, starting with the colors of the sky is the best way to get the ball rolling on a celestial theme.  Midnight blue bridesmaid gowns would be the perfect choice, and if you could find gowns dotted with brilliant crystals or rhinestones that would give the impression that they are twinkling stars, that would be ideal.  Your groom’s attendants can choose a midnight blue tuxedo or suit, or you could go with a traditional black with midnight blue accessories.  For something fun, you could have the men in your wedding party have star shaped cufflinks or tie tacks, and you could find beautiful star studded hair accessories for your attendants.

The bride’s gown can be the traditional heavenly white, but adding crystal accents to your gown will make the gown pop and shine as bright as the brightest star.  If you want something that sets you apart from any other bride, opt for a midnight blue ball gown, heavily decorated with sparkling crystals.  Choose a gown that has some beautiful gold or silver thread embroidering on the bodice and the train, and adding that extra little touch will give your gown a boost of shimmer no matter what type of light you are standing in.

White flowers would be the best look for this type of wedding, but you can have them wrapped with midnight blue satin ribbon, and have touches of metallic gold or silver added to the bouquets.  Some florists will have floral decorations in the shapes of stars that may work with your color scheme, or you may find that you prefer the white stargazer lilies as the signature flower for all of your bouquets and floral arrangements.

Twinkling lights are going to set the stage at your reception location, so plan on having them everywhere.  If your budget allows, draping your location in yards of midnight blue fabric entwined with the white twinkle lights would be a beautiful, almost mystical look.  Ask your caterer about midnight blue table covers, and for centerpieces, you can use any number of star themed vases, votive holders and other candle holders.  Using silver metallic accents or crystal votive holders or vases will add to the twinkling brilliance that you are trying to capture with this theme.

You will find so many options for favors for your guests that you can certainly fit every taste and every budget.  You will find star place card holders and votive holders.  You can find stars on picture frames.  Most craft stores will have moon and star candy molds that you can use to make your own chocolates to fill mesh bags or tulle circles in silver or gold, tied with beautiful ribbons.  If you want something out of the ordinary, consider gifting each guest with a star fruit, wrapped in a cellophane bag, and tied with a ribbon and a note thanking them for making your day “heavenly”.

The timing of your event should be so that you can enjoy the night time skies and the stars, but in the event that you are unable to come in or go out with a blanket of stars shining above you, you can find home planetariums or star machines that will project stars and planets throughout your room and give your reception an other worldly feel.  This will certainly make your wedding a night to remember.

When the night is over, you should choose a song to make your exit to that will leave your guests with no doubt of what theme you were trying to share with them.  “Fly Me to The Moon” is a song that will stay on the lips of your guests as they recall your wedding for a long time to come.

Butterfly Theme Wedding

Add Live Butterflies To Your Butterfly Theme Wedding

A butterfly theme wedding is a beautiful choice for a marriage ceremony taking place in the late spring, or summer. Whether your ceremony is outdoors or inside a church, live butterflies can still be a big part of the event. Butterflies can also instead be used in the decorations, the fashion worn by the bride and bridesmaids, and even the food prepared for the  reception, such as the wedding cake. Not live butterflies of course, but butterfly theme items, or decor. One doesn't even need to go through an expensive wedding planner to achieve highly competent and attractive results. There are several resources, at low price, and options that can help you plan a beautiful butterfly theme wedding. You don't have to be a millionaire or a celebrity to be married in the same manner of luxury!

Butterfly Decor

If for some reason the idea of releasing butterflies does not appeal to you, you can instead buy butterfly embellishments. Beautifully crafted butterflies of any colour with fabric wings, that can be attached to flowers, table tops, or any still surface. Also available from numerous sources online, are butterfly place-card holders, with the shapes of butterfly wings made from sterling silver or a less expensive metal, holding the card with the guest's name on it. As a centrepiece, or decoration, you can place a large glass or crystal bowl in the centre of the table of buffet with floating, multi-coloured butterfly candles in it. Or, you can place a votive butterfly candle holder on each of the tables, if there is to be a catered dinner at your reception. Also available, are guest books, embroidered with silk butterfly patterns as well. There are also numerous butterfly wedding favor options, including butterflies themselves.

If your wedding is indoors, you can find table liners, embroidered drapery, etc., to hang from trees if your wedding is outdoors. If there are no tress or the like that one can use to decorate a virtual aisle for the bride to walk down, this can be remedied by creating a temporary one for the event. Use gardening stakes, driven into the ground in a row to create the aisle, and the decorate each sturdy stake with swathes of butterfly decorated white cloth, to make them seem more like pillars. You can then affix these with faux vines, found at any craft store; preferably flowering vines or if you like, you can then weave real flowers into the faux vines. Then, to put on the finishing touch, you can affix a few of the aforementioned butterfly embellishments. If you're having a church wedding, you can do the same thing with the aisle in the church, with a little creativity.

Butterfly Wedding Fashion

Butterfly weddings are popular in the spring time, so finding a wedding dress that incorporates butterflies into its design shouldn't be a problem. Neither should finding other attire, such as that for bridesmaids, and the flower girl. But there are also other fashion options, if you choose to forego the butterfly dresses, and instead rely on butterfly accessories. The flower girl, for instance, can carry a basket decorated with butterfly designs, or butterfly embellishments decorating the rim or handle of the basket. Or, she can instead wear a miniature tiara with or without a veil that is decorated with butterflies. The ring bearer can carry a pillow with butterfly embroidery decorations. The bride can also wear a simple butterfly decorated tiara; several varying designs are available from different sources, with or without the veil. Or she can decorate a piled up-do with floral and mini-butterfly embellishments added. Or a simple butterfly hair pin, or decorated comb can be added to an elegant French twist hairstyle. Then there are of course earrings, and necklaces, as well. The bride can wear a delicate but simple silver necklace, with a butterfly pendant. Or, instead, a pair of crystal and silver butterfly earrings.

Butterfly Food

There are several different ways you can incorporate a butterfly theme wedding into the food and refreshments served at the wedding reception. You can find butterfly shaped cookie cutters, or ice cube molds, for drinks and cookies. Or, you can use small butterfly shaped cookie cutters or molds, to make a butterfly shape from oranges, lemons, and grapefruits. These you can put inside drinks as decoration, or inside a large punch bowl. And then of course the options for utensils and table decorations with a butterfly theme are endless. The bride and groom can drink from crystal champagne glasses, delicately engraved with butterflies, or stainless steel butterfly wine stoppers can be found to preserve wine or champagne from the wedding reception. Butterfly centrepieces or specially made candy or icing butterflies can be added to the wedding cake; the cake cutter can be embellished with butterfly designs as well. Making the catered food into the shape of butterflies is possible, but might be going too far; stick with drinks and desserts. Butterfly cookies, pastries, candies, etc., and as an added touch, you can also find decorated butterfly napkins as well.

Live Butterfly Releases

Releasing butterflies at your wedding, or planning a surprise butterfly release for a wedding is an easy, simple, but also delicate process. You can order the butterflies from many different reliable companies, whether online or nearby. The butterflies arrive in a box, with an ice pack in the bottom. You'll hear them scratching around, each in their little white paper boxes; this is normal. The first thing to do is freeze the ice pack again, and then replace it with the butterflies. Be sure not to get the little paper boxes wet. Place the box in a cool, dry room, to store them but not for any long length of time. Butterflies cannot be automatically exposed to direct warmth and sunlight, so if you plan to place them in a display case instead, do so at least two hour before the ceremony and keep them in the shade. After the ceremony, open the case to release hundreds of beautiful butterflies, or allow the guests to each open a paper envelope containing a butterfly. They'll gravitate towards the blossoms and floral decor, and not immediately fly away. The butterflies and butterfly decor will make your wedding celebration an event that every guest will remember!

Honeymoon on Kauai

Uncover Kauai’s Pristine Wonders Aloha Island Wedding recommends

this island as a perfect  honeymoon escape

Kauai is one of the main islands of Hawaii surrounded by the Pacific Ocean’s clear turquoise water. Also known as the Garden Island, this 550 square meter tropical sanctuary is famous for its lush gardens, awe-inspiring waterfalls, emerald-colored mountains and amazing sandy beaches. Almost all the lands of this circular-shaped island are used for agriculture, making 70% of the entire island impossible to traverse by foot.

Visitors could start by flight seeing the entire Kauai island on board a helicopter. They would have a better view of the places that they could later visit. Awesome mountain sceneries and countless towering over waterfalls would definitely captivate their eyes. The helicopter would also soar above the very center of the island where Mt. Waialeale could be seen. This 3,000 feet mountain is considered to be the wettest area on the planet that has an average of 440 inches of rainfall annually.

Nature lovers would absolutely find it rewarding to visit Allerton Garden, which is recognized as the Garden of Eden on earth. This garden paradise offers visitors an array of colorful, rare, and unique flowers and plants. People would feel amazed at the wonderful surprises awaiting them at every turn. A masterpiece known as Lawai Kai is a manmade stretch of white sand beach structure with sparkling blue and green waves could also be found in this haven.

Tourists would also love to take a stroll or go on a bike ride on the newly-constructed Kauai Coastal Pedestrian Path that connects Lihue and Anahola. Ke Ala Hele Makalae or The Path that go by the Coast is its official name. The wide pathway, which is fully cemented, provides access to be several of the famous shopping and dining areas and other favorite sightseeing spots. This eco-friendly trail can also be enjoyed by the disabled. Travelers would surely have the most unforgettable walks of their lifetime.

To have a unique cave experience, travelers should visit the Blue Room, which is inside a wet cave. It is one of the unique rock formations in the island. The sunlight passing through the cave’s fresh clear water makes an extraordinary blue light. This certain scene makes the cave even more special. Swimming, however, is strictly prohibited in the cave since leptospirosis bacteria might be present.

Another fun activity to do in Kauai is kayaking on Hanelei River. Visitors would not believe their eyes when they find fish actually jumping out of the water. This is truly a one of a kind experience.

One of the untouched beaches in Kauai is the serene Maha`ulepu Beach in the south. It is the best place for tourists to surf, windsurf, fish, dive, hike, and have a picnic. Maha`ulepu Beach is recognized as a living museum for it presents 5 million years of Kauai’s rich history. It also houses unusual and extinct animal and plant species.

Kipu Falls is another wonderful place to see. The falls are surrounded by a 20-foot rock wall. Tied on the trees are numerous rope swings in different lengths for tourists to enjoy.

Opening Words

Greeting of guests

Jonathan and Alex would also like to take a moment to thank all of you for making the long journey to be here with them today.  Family are those who are nearest and dearest to us.  Family are the people with whom we share our deepest secrets, and from whom we have no secrets. Some family we are born into and others earn the title through their actions. You have all been there for them from the beginning, sharing your love and support, your laughter and tears and they are deeply grateful for each and every one of you here today.

Lei Ceremony

Alex and Jonathan would now like to show their gratitude and love for their new families and each other with a traditional Hawaiian lei ceremony.

Charge to couple

Alex and Jonathan, the covenant, which you are about to make with each other, is meant to be a beautiful and sacred expression of your love for each other. As you pledge your vows to each other, and as you commit your lives to each other, we ask that you do so in all seriousness, and yet with a deep sense of joy; with the deep conviction that you are committing yourselves to a dynamic growing relationship of trust, mutual support, and caring love.

A wedding is more than a celebration of the love, which lives in our Bride and Groom's hearts today. It reaches into the future and proclaims their intentions for that which tomorrow shall hold.

A couple who wed are joined not only by the mutual affection and love they share, but also by their hopes, dreams and by their promises of what will be... The promises and vows they make this day shall guide them into their common future. I will ask you now if you are prepared to make these promises.

Alex, Have you come here today of your own free will to take Jonathan to be your husband, that you may live together as equal partners sharing all that life has to offer?

Alex: "I have."

Will you love him, comfort him, honor and keep him all the days of your life?

Alex: "I will."

Jonathan, Have you come here today of your own free will to take Alex to be your wife, that you may live together as equal partners sharing all that life has to offer?

Jonathan: "I have."

Will you love her comfort her, honor and keep her all the days of your life?

Jonathan: "I will."

Readings

(John)

Jonathan and Alex both immensely value their families and have asked their siblings to both bless the wedding.

Lisa will begin with an Irish wedding blessing.

Irish Wedding Blessing (Lisa)

May the road rise to meet you,
And the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields.

May green be the grass you walk upon,
And blue be the skies above you.

May the warm rays of sun fall upon your home
May pure be the joys that surround you,
And true be the hearts that love you.

And may the hand of a friend always be near.

May you be poor in misfortune,
And rich in blessings.

May the saddest day of your future
Be no worse than the happiest day of your past.
May your hands be forever clasped in friendship
And your hearts joined forever in love.

But rich or poor, quick or slow,
May you know nothing but happiness
From this day forward.

Erik will now offer a Native American blessing.

The Blessing Of The Apaches (Erik)
Now you will feel no rain,

For each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
For each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no more loneliness for you,
For each of you will be companion to the other.
Now you are two bodies,
But there is only one life before you.
Go now to your dwelling place,
To enter into the days of your togetherness.
And may your days be good and long upon the earth.

Self vows

John: Jonathan and Alexandra would now like to share their own thoughts and words with each other.

Jonathan:

Alex,

Much like a seedling that needed the sun

Your energy, enthusiasm, passion, smile, and laughter

Has made me into something new, something whole.

Something that I previously thought might be possible

But was never realized until you.

You’re brilliant light that has brought me to life.

I can now fully soak up all that life has to offer.

And though our time here, on Earth, is limited,

I vow to cherish every second, knowing that we are together,

And knowing that our bond will last

Even beyond the boundaries of our current existence.

I cannot thank you enough for all that you have brought to me

And will spend all eternity loving you.

Alexandra:

The day I first saw you again, I knew ‘I want that’ and within three weeks I knew I was going to spend the rest of my life with you.  I was attracted to you at sight, but it was your heart and soul that I fell in love with.  You are the most caring person I know and you think about others before yourself naturally.  I strive to be a better person because of you; I strive to be the person that I see in you everyday.

It is only since I met you that I truly feel at home no matter where I am – you are my home.  At the same time, you give me the confidence to try new things to take risks.  I know that it does not matter if I am not successful right away, you will still be there loving me and supporting me, which allows me to feel like I can fly.  You are truly both my roots and my wings.

Our future is still unwritten, but I know that our life together will be great.  I thank you and I love you more than words can express and I promise to spend the rest of my life showing you just how much I love you.

Sand ceremony (John)

Alex and Jonathan have chosen to symbolize their joining with a traditional sand ceremony.

Alex and Jonathan may your love always be as constant as the never-ending waves, flowing endlessly from the depths of the sea. Just as the waters touch and nourish the many shores of the earth, may your love be a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Just as there will never be a morning without the ocean’s flow, there will never be a day without your love for each other.

This beautiful union is symbolized through the combining of these two individual jars of sand. The first jar represents you, Alex, in all that you were, all that you are, and all that you will ever be, and the other jar represents you, Jonathan, in all that you were, all that you are and all that you will ever be.

Each one holds its own unique beauty, strength, and character. They can stand on their own and be whole, without need of anything else. However when these two are blended together they create an entirely new and extraordinarily more intricate entity. Each grain of sand brings to the mixture a lasting beauty that forever enriches the combination.

When you pour the sand into this common container, it symbolizes the union of your two lives. Just as these grains of sand can never be separated and poured again into the individual containers, so will your marriage be a molding of two individual personalities, bonded together forming one heart, one love. The life that each of you experienced now, individually, will hereafter be inseparably united, for the two shall become one.

Will you each please take your separate jars now and pour them into the glass in order to be united forever.

Ring Vows

May I have the rings please?
Officiant given the rings

You are about to present a ring to each other. The wedding ring, a complete circle, is the symbol of the completeness a husband and wife find in a marriage
relationship.

The ring has no beginning and no end, just as true love is never-ending. As you place the wedding ring on each other's hand, may it not only remind you of the endless love you possess for one another, but may it also be a reminder of the precious gift that has been given you to make you complete.

I ask that you now exchange rings.

(Jonathan)

Alex, with this ring,
I give you my promise that from this day forward,
you shall not walk alone.
May my heart be your shelter
And my arms be your home.
May we talk together through all things.
May you feel deeply loved, for indeed you are.
May you always see your innocence in my eyes.
I give you my heart.
I have no greater gift to give.

Now please repeat after me:
I, Jonathan, take you Alex,

I, Jonathan, take you Alex,

to be my lawful wedded wife,

to be my lawful wedded wife,

to have and to hold, from this day forward,

to have and to hold, from this day forward,

for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer,

for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer,

in sickness and health, until death do us part

in sickness and health, until death do us part

(Alex)

Jonathan, with this ring,
I give you my promise that from this day forward,
you shall not walk alone.
May my heart be your shelter
And my arms be your home.
May we talk together through all things.
May you feel deeply loved, for indeed you are.
May you always see your innocence in my eyes.
I give you my heart.
I have no greater gift to give.

Now please repeat after me:
I, Alex, take you Jonathan,

I, Alex, take you Jonathan,

to be my lawful wedded husband,

to be my lawful wedded husband,

to have and to hold, from this day forward,

to have and to hold, from this day forward,

for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer,

for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer,

in sickness and health, until death do us part

in sickness and health, until death do us part
