Angela & Chris's Hawaii Wedding

Angela and Chris chose a beach estate house in Waimanalo for their wedding, so their whole day could happen in one beautiful place. The house sits on a lawn shaded by palm trees, just steps from the white sand and turquoise water of Waimanalo Bay. Inside, Angela and her bridesmaids got ready together, with their turquoise dresses hanging by the palms outside, while Chris and his groomsmen dressed in white and Chris gave each of them a lei.

Their colors were turquoise and pink. A bamboo arch draped in turquoise and white stood on the sand, the chairs wore turquoise sashes, and a white ginger lei was draped over a bamboo chair beside a conch shell. A harp waited by the ocean for the ceremony. Angela walked down the aisle on the beach, and the couple poured turquoise and pink sand together in their sand ceremony, with their bridal party in turquoise and white beside them and the green mountains of Waimanalo behind.

Afterwards we photographed Angela and Chris on the beach, lying in the sand by the arch, walking along the water and holding flower-topped tiki torches. Back on the estate lawn, they cut their cake under the palms and fed each other a bite. The celebration continued that evening with a luau at Germaine’s.
