Elizabeth and Brian were married on the beach on May 15, after getting ready with their bridal party at a house in Kailua. Their colors were bright and tropical: Stargazer lilies tucked into lime and turquoise sashes, and bouquets of Stargazers with orange and pink baby roses and light pink Hawaiian ginger.
Before the wedding they had fun with a romantic photo shoot on the beach at Lanikai, and after the ceremony they headed to the cliffs above the waters of Makapuu.

Elizabeth got ready with her bridesmaids at the house in Kailua: her dress hanging by the window, jewelry for her feet, curls and makeup in front of the gold mirror, a white flower in her hair, and a quiet moment reading her vows.

Across the house, Brian and his groomsmen got ready in blue shirts and leis, raised a toast with red cups, and goofed around in their sunglasses before the limo pulled up.

The girls waited outside for the limo in their bright dresses, then piled in for a laughing, happy ride to the beach.

The arch was draped in bright colors on the sand, with Stargazers in the lime and turquoise sashes and a petal aisle leading to the water. Elizabeth’s dad walked her down the aisle, the minister sang the bride in, and Elizabeth and Brian said their vows with the ocean behind them.

After the ceremony the bridesmaids in their rainbow of dresses jumped for joy on the beach with Elizabeth, and the whole bridal party lined up by the water.

Elizabeth and Brian had two romantic shoots: walking in the rays of the sun on the white sand of Lanikai, swinging in each other’s arms by a twisted tree, and later kissing on the cliffs high above the water at Makapuu.
