From the Pink Palace in Waikiki to a flower circle at Waialae Beach.
Their story
Our Beach Wedding in Hawaii
Hawaii is Keith and Montse’s favorite place in the world, so when it was time to say their vows, there was only one place to do it. They flew to Oahu with their kids for a destination wedding on the beach.
They made their home for the trip at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, the pink landmark on Waikiki Beach that has welcomed travelers since 1927. For the ceremony, though, they wanted something quieter than the crowds of Waikiki, so they chose Waialae Beach Park in Kahala, a peaceful palm-lined beach just past Diamond Head.
On March 14, 2025, under a circle of roses by the sea, with their kids at their side, they became a family in a whole new way.

Montse’s Review
★★★★★
“My wedding was impressive. The views, the decoration, the team, everyone made a good combination and a good team, everything was better than I can imagined, and I assure you that it is a good option to get married.”
The Royal Hawaiian opened on February 1, 1927. Its Spanish and Moorish design and pink stucco walls made it a symbol of Waikiki glamour, and it has hosted stars and presidents from Franklin D. Roosevelt to Marilyn Monroe and Frank Sinatra.
It sits right on Waikiki Beach, steps from the shops and restaurants of Kalakaua Avenue, with lush gardens that feel like a private oasis in the middle of the city. Montse used it all for her bridal photos. See her pre-wedding photos.

Where they married
Waialae Beach, Away from the Crowds
Waialae Beach Park is about 10 to 15 minutes from Waikiki, on the far side of Diamond Head. Tall coconut palms, soft sand and calm water, with Koko Head on the horizon, made the perfect stage for their pink flower circle, a sand ceremony and a butterfly release. See their beach wedding.
A quiet beach, a circle of flowers, a family gathered

Why choose Waialae Beach instead of Waikiki?
Keith and Montse wanted somewhere more secluded than the busy beaches of Waikiki. Waialae Beach Park is a quiet palm-lined beach on the far side of Diamond Head, about 10 to 15 minutes from Waikiki.
Can we bring our kids to our Hawaii beach wedding?
Of course. Keith and Montse’s kids were part of the whole day, from getting ready at the hotel to the butterfly release and family photos.
