Leigh and Troy came all the way from Australia to get married on a beach in Hawaii, with 32 of their family and friends. Together we created a surfboard theme: two 8 foot tall surfboards set in the sand formed the entrance to the aisle, and an all white organza wrapped bamboo arch waited by the water for their vows.
Rev. Toni led the ceremony and gave them a Hawaiian blessing, a hula dancer danced for the children, and afterwards the newlyweds slipped away for photos in the Nuuanu rainforest.

The theme
Surfboards & White Organza
The two surfboards stood tall at the start of the aisle like a gateway to the beach. After the ceremony the couple had fun with them, riding the waves in sepia photos, sitting together between the boards, and carrying their surfboard of love across the sand.

A Hawaiian Blessing
Under the white organza arch, Leigh and Troy said their vows to each other with the sun shining through. Rev. Toni gave them a Hawaiian blessing, smiled with them after the lei exchange, and then came the kiss as husband and wife.

The children stole the show. The hula dancer danced for them and held the flower girl, the ring boy flashed a big shaka, and Troy scooped up the kids for a photo before everyone gathered for family pictures.

To finish the day, Leigh and Troy walked hand in hand through the trees and into the Nuuanu rainforest, with sunlight glowing through the leaves and a dip kiss between the ironwoods.
