Lila & Mustafa’s Magic Island Wedding
Lila and Mustafa were married on the morning of October 2, 2026, on the grass at Magic Island, surrounded by family and friends who traveled to Hawaii to celebrate with them. Their colors were warm and bright, like a Hawaiian sunrise: yellow, cream, pink, orange and brown. Six bridesmaids in sunset shades carried bouquets wrapped in sand colored ribbon, six groomsmen wore white orchid and Hawaiian fern boutonnieres, and Lila wore a haku crown of white orchids. Their daughter was the flower girl in a pink and white flower crown, and their nephew carried the rings. After the ceremony and a sand ceremony, the photos moved to the giant banyan trees and the Magic Island breakwater, with Diamond Head in the distance.

The setup
A Pink & Cream Arch Under the Palms
A flower arch in pink and cream stood under the palm trees, with chairs tied in pink sashes and aisles lined with flower petals, just steps from the water at Magic Island.
Here comes the bride
The Processional
Mustafa walked in with his mom, then came the bridal party. Lila’s sister, the maid of honor, walked with the couple’s son, their nephew carried the rings, and their daughter walked as the flower girl in her pink and white flower crown. Then Lila walked down the aisle with her dad.
The vows
Vows Under the Flower Arch
Under the arch, with the ocean behind them, Lila and Mustafa held hands, exchanged leis and their vows, and the officiant guided them through a heartfelt ceremony.
Details
Rings, Sand & Ukulele
The little ones helped with the sand ceremony, the rings rested on white orchids, and a ukulele player filled the morning with island music.
Bridal party
Six Bridesmaids & Six Groomsmen
The bridesmaids glowed in pink, orange and yellow with their bouquets, and the groomsmen looked sharp in white and tan with orchid boutonnieres.
Family
Family & Their Little Ones
Some of the sweetest photos were with their children: the flower girl in her flower crown, the little guys in white, and hugs all around with their parents.
