Rachelle’s beach wedding was full of sunshine. Her arch was covered in sunflowers and bright yellow and orange flowers, the chairs wore turquoise sashes with yellow blooms, and the aisle was scattered with plumeria and starfish, all against the turquoise water of Oahu’s east coast.
A violinist played by the sea as the guests arrived in their leis, and her father walked her through the trees to the sand. The ceremony was led by a monk in saffron robes, who blessed the couple with the soft ring of a singing bowl.
