Their story
Wedding Love, Hawaiian Style
Painted in the colors of the islands, Elsa and Willy’s wedding bloomed with bright tropical flowers and the textures of Hawaii’s nature. On February 20, 2020, with 25 of their favorite people, they said “I do” on the beach near Makapuu, under a palm frond arch with Rabbit Island out at sea.
There were carved tikis at the aisle, a conch shell blessing, ukulele music, and rings that came to the ceremony on a maile lei. Afterward they took photos on the lava rocks and at a lookout above the coast, watched the sunset in Waikiki, and celebrated at Tiki’s Grill & Bar. After the wedding, they also dressed island style for a photo shoot by a waterfall in the Nuuanu rainforest.

The Rainforest Waterfall Shoot
For one more adventure, Elsa and Willy dressed island style in the Nuuanu rainforest above Honolulu: a white plumeria hula skirt and crown for Elsa, a maile lei and lavalava for Willy, hula among the giant trees, and a waterfall pouring into a clear pond.
On the beach near Makapuu on Oahu’s east side, under a palm frond arch with Rabbit Island offshore, with 25 guests. They had sunset photos in Waikiki and their reception at Tiki’s Grill & Bar.
