When the vows were spoken and the leis exchanged, Natasha and Tyson slipped away for a little time alone. The trade winds tugged at Natasha’s veil, the ocean rolled in white against the lava rocks, and the sky above Oahu’s east coast was as blue as it gets.
These are the photos couples treasure most: not the posed ones, but the hugs that last a little too long, the laugh in the middle of a kiss, and the way two people look at each other on the day they become a family.
They walked along the rocks, held each other close with the islands behind them, and found a soft patch of grass for a quiet moment together. One photo became Natasha’s favorite, and you can see why.
Look closely and you will see the little details that make Hawaii special: the leis around their necks, the bright magenta and mango of the arch in the distance, the black lava rock under their feet and the white foam of the waves. Every photo feels like the island itself is celebrating with them.
For many couples, these few quiet minutes by the sea are the moment the day finally sinks in: married, in Hawaii, with the whole Pacific Ocean in front of them and a lifetime of adventures ahead.
We always plan time for romance photos right after the ceremony, when the light is beautiful and the feelings are still brand new. Ten or fifteen minutes is all it takes for photos you will look at for the rest of your lives.
Just the two of them
